Only one Caterham? Really? Come on, there should be at least three more! The Superlight, the base, and the competition-spec.

Now all we need to know is: Are all the cars "premium?"

Lool. I had a PSOne. Sold it two years ago. Still have my PS2 to play PS1 games though. I currently own every single Gran Turismo, and on the 6th, will own the next one!

I really want to play through GT2 again but my video cables like playing hide and seek. Too lazy to find emulators

Hmmm if i remember correctly the Caterham kinda broke the gran turismo physics engine with it's lightness. I remember being really stoked about it and then being totally disappointed by how it actually drove.
Granted previous GT games had a different physics engine.

no. It's been confirmed. There are more premium cars this time around but the majority are still standard.

I pulled out my old PS2 about a month ago and was happy to find a couple of drifting replays i'd saved that are now over a decade old. Hard to believe the series is so old.
Good times.

Yeah, the Caterham was really meh in GT4. Honestly, the car line-up is almost the same as 4's with maybe 3 dozen more cars added. Lot of common American cars are neglected. No SRT-10 Ram, no 3rd gen Camaros, , etc. No S2k CR?!

This ... was kinda disappointing. I might wait until it's in the bargain bin.

Yeah. I roll my eyes a little bit when i see the car list. Between the lack of universal premium models and their huge overemphasis on japanese cars i can't say i'm not a little disappointed. Actually, im pretty disappointed about a bunch of things that they've neglected to put in, such as wheel width and diameter, engine swaps, better vehicle sounds...really the list kinda goes on and on.
Buuuuuuuut, in the demo, it felt as if their physics were improved, and with 1K cars....i mean...i can't be too mad about that list.
It's also the only console sim racing game with an easily usable track generator, which is HUGE for replayability. If their GPS track creator is half as cool as it could be, i'll be playing GT6 for years and years to come.
Basically if it's 7/10 or 8/10 with amazing physics and a good track editor, i'm going to be all over it's nuts.

I promise you that the first car you buy will not be an SHO. It'll be a Honda Fit.
But dont feel down, I mean the Fit has a lot of really nice features! You can get your whole family in there! Drive to the beach! And the fuel economy, bet you'll average over 30mpg in the city!
From GT Planets GT6 Faq:
In the beginning, do you have to buy the fit or are there other options? - The game forces you to buy the Fit.

I have to say, I think GT6 wins for shear number of driveable cars but Forza for diversity and quality (fuuuuuuck you, EA).

Forza did a lot of things well. It's currently probably my favorite console racing series. But after spending a couple of hours with Forza 5 i decided that, while it's a cool game, it's not worth buying an Xbone for, as it's the only Xbone game I really want.
Forza 5 has really good physics though, I figure in a couple of years I'll buy an Xbone for like 300 dollars. By that time there will have been a price drop and a they hopefully won't all come with a Kinect. Forza 6 will have just come out, and i'll be able to get back on the Forza train.
